Moormaid Press is based in Macclesfield and run by poet Ailsa Holland.

We are a small press with a difference, in that our ‘publication’ of poetry and stories is not purely about words on a page. We have an interest in all sorts of projects which combine poetry and stories with other art forms and sensory experiences: visual art, music, being outdoors.

NEWS: Ailsa has just published her own first poetry pamphlet, Twenty-Four Miles Up, as part of an Arts Council supported project… See details and how to buy here… Read the blog about the project here… We have also reprinted Nell Farrell’s Mermaids and Other Devices, due to popular demand…

And please get in touch if you think we could help you with a publishing or word-art project or you would like information about poetry workshops.
